R&D DIRECTOR - COFFEE
Nhiệm vụ chính/ Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Lead R&D Team - Coffee category, focusing on new product development (NPD), innovation & re-innovation, process improvement, and cost optimization.
🔹 Analyse coffee properties to identify areas for improvement and meet customer needs in alignment with company strategy.
🔹 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research into commercial products.
🔹 Support Quality management department in improving physical, chemical and biological parameters for coffee category.
🔹 Keep updated the industry trends always and technological advancements to leverage the market opportunities for the business growth.
🔹 Promote the culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
🔹 Manage R&D budgets and ensure Cost Centre budget is not exceeded.
🔹 Develop team, succession plan for R&D function. Ensure all people have equal opportunity to grow their careers. Review the performance gaps and work with HR on the development plan;
🔹 Ensure all processes and procedures are documented, implemented and maintained as required for certifications.
🔹 Work co-operatively with other functions to create partnering relationships, leverage their expertise and improve the business processes that contribute to the business goals.
🔹 Other tasks assigned by the Chief R&D Officer.
Yêu cầu/ Job Requirements:
🔸 Bachelor’s degree in Food Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, Biotechnology and other suitable majors for the role.
🔸 15+ years' experience in quality management, R&D, in FMCG, Coffee, F&B …
🔸 At least 5+ years' experience in NPD, R&D for coffee category in the same role.
🔸 In-depth knowledge of coffee characteristics, quality standards and processing technologies.
🔸 Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
🔸 Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach.
🔸 Excellent project management skill.
🔸 Excellent interpersonal skill, communication & presentation skills, time management skill.
🔸 Good knowledge of ISO 9001: 2000, HACCP, GMP, Safe Quality Foods (SQF)...
🔸 Good communication in English.
🔸 Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint/ Word/ Excel…).
