Legal Manager
Nhiệm vụ chính/ Key Responsibilities:
🔹 Develop a strategy to prevent legal risks arising during the process of dealing with and implementing contracts.
🔹 Monitor and coordinate with lawyers/ insurers to resolve disputes arising from operations of the company's fleets.
🔹 Consult & advise the BOD and all departments on issues related to international maritime law, Vietnamese law and law of flying flags.
🔹 Ensuring that corporate legal works comply with government regulations.
🔹 Process management and cost management of insurance & legal.
🔹 Build and manage the operations of the legal department.
🔹 Legal team management; Training & coaching legal subordinates/team members.
🔹 Build, expand, consolidate and keep good relationships with insurers, lawyers, professional law firms …
🔹 Other tasks assigned by CEO.
Yêu cầu/ Job Requirements:
🔸 Bachelor’s degree in law.
🔸 Master of Laws is preferred.
🔸 At least 05 years of experience in legal affairs and in a similar role in shipping industry.
🔸 International maritime law.
🔸 Marine insurance.
🔸 General knowledge of the shipping industry.
🔸 General laws on commerce, businesses, etc. of Vietnam
🔸 Experienced in coordinating with international lawyers to handle contract disputes, complaints, and litigation.
🔸 Working experience in marine insurance and risk management of insurance loss.
🔸 Good experience in Vietnamese corporate laws.
🔸 Good network of business partners and good relationships with lawyers, insurers, and related consulting firms in the shipping industry.
🔸 Good communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
🔸 Planning and risk management skills.
🔸 Ability to work under pressure and handle urgent legal matters.
🔸 Analytical thinking and result oriented.
🔸 Leadership.
🔸 Good communication in English, both speaking & writing.
🔸 Proficient in MS Office (PowerPoint/Word/Excel…)
